A tan Indian street dog and a black labrador running together through a dew-wet meadow, with low sun and mist among the pines behind.

Four toes, one heart and a grin.

Everything Pawgrins will do is in this mark. Scroll down and we will take it apart, one piece at a time.

All four pillars are opening soon.

The mark, piece by piece

  1. A brown-and-white dog sitting on a dewy lawn, looking up and away, with a long leather line lying loose on the grass.

    Train.

Academy will teach dogs and their people, with force-free methods, in person and online.

  2. A beagle asleep on a linen daybed in a sunlit limewashed room, with a folded blanket beside it and a brass water bowl on the floor.

    Keep.

Care will be the everyday: boarding, daycare and grooming, from people who know your dog by name.

    See Care

  3. A golden retriever on a stone veranda at sunrise, looking out over misty pine-covered hills.

    Escape.

Retreat will be the holiday, for dogs and the people they bring along.

  4. A tan-and-white Indian street dog sitting in a sunlit lane, looking straight at the camera, with an old limewashed wall behind.

    Rescue.

The platform will be the way in for dogs with nobody: adopt, foster and, once the Foundation is registered, donate.

  5. And a heart.

5% of all revenue will fund the Pawgrins Foundation, once it is registered. It lands last because it holds up the rest.

Then the heart grinned.

Paw + grins.

Four toes lifting like a smile, and a dog who has got home. That is the name, and the whole idea.

How old is your dog?

One home for a dog’s whole life means a different toe matters at each age.

Your dog’s stage of life

A puppy. A puppy needs a first teacher and somewhere safe to be while you are at work. Academy and Care will do the heavy lifting.

Young. All legs and opinions. Academy will give that energy a job, and Retreat will give it a meadow.

Grown. Good company, most days. Academy for the odd refresher, Care for the weeks, and Retreat for the holiday.

Senior. Slower walks and softer beds. Care will notice the small changes, and Retreat will save the sunny end of the veranda.

Newly rescued. A frightened dog needs patience before anything else. Rescue will be the first door, and Academy’s rehabilitation programme will go at their speed.

Whichever toes light up, 5% will go to rescue.

The people behind the mark.

It is still early, and we will say how early.

What we have decided

  • Four pillars under one name: Academy, Care, Retreat and Rescue.
  • 5% of all revenue will fund the Pawgrins Foundation, once it is registered.
  • We start in Ahmedabad, with a free first training session at home.
  • India first, with a digital academy and partners anywhere in the world.
  • No donations and no payments until there is something real to pay for.

What we have not

  • When each pillar will open.
  • What anything will cost.
  • Where the Retreat will be.
  • When the Foundation will be registered.

Guiding every dog home.

Pawgrins is new, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we have is a clear intention.

We intend to build one home for a dog’s whole life: force-free training, everyday care, holidays worth remembering and a rescue platform that the other three pay for.
